Bonnyville RCMP Briefs February 25-29, 2016

 

Breach of Conditions while on Warrant:
On February 29th Bonnyville RCMP received a tip on the whereabouts of a 31 year old female from Kehewin who was on Warrants.  RCMP found her hiding in a residence.  She was arrested on her Warrants and additionally charged with Breaching a previous Undertaking.

 

Impaired Driving by Drug:
On February 28th Bonnyville RCMP received a complaint of a possible impaired driver said to be swerving all over the road approaching Bonnyville on Hwy 28.  RCMP located the vehicle, conducted a roadside check and determined the driver, a 29 year old Bonnyville man, was impaired by synthetic marihuana.  The driver was subsequently charged with Impaired Operation by Drug of a Motor Vehicle, Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  His first appearance is on March 22, 2016.

 

Over the Legal Limit

On February 26th RCMP conducted a roadside check with a truck that had driven into the oncoming lane.  The driver, a 32 year old male from Bonnyville was arrested for Impaired Driving and provided breath samples over the legal limit.  He was charged accordingly.

 

 

Curfew Check
On February 25th the Bonnyville RCMP conducted a curfew check on a 19 year old Bonnyville resident who was on a curfew condition stemming from a December Break & Enter into a residence.  He was not at home and was subsequently charged for breaching his curfew condition.
