Bonnyville Man Arrested: Drugs, Credit Card & Identity Theft Among Charges

On February 7th, 2016 at approximately 11:50 PM, a Constable with the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment conducted a traffic stop with a person arrestable for Failing to Comply with Conditions. The male driver, a 57 year old resident of Bonnyville, was arrested and searched which revealed credit information belonging to a different male.

Various documents were observed in the vehicle which was towed to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment.  The male was transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment and held in cells while a search warrant was executed on his vehicle which revealed numerous documents and Methamphetamine.

The male refused to speak to a Justice of the Peace regarding his detention and remains in custody to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on February 16th, 2016 for charges of: Possession of Methamphetamine, Identity Theft x4, Unauthorized Use of Credit Card Data x4, Make/ Possess Instruments for Making a Forged Document, Breaching Probation x2, and 3 counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions.
