Two Arrested for Assaulting a Peace Officer in Cold Lake

On February 4th, at 10:20 pm, the Cold Lake RCMP received a 911 call that there was a man running around outside, on 50th avenue, without his shirt on. The man appeared, to the complainant, to be angry and acting violent.

Four RCMP members attended the scene, to discover the man to have his shirt on, though he did not have a jacket on. The man was with a 16 year old female, and both became agitated and violent with the RCMP. Both suspects were intoxicated.

A 16 year old female, from Cold Lake, has been arrested for resisting arrest and assaulting a peace officer. A 22 year old male, from Cold Lake, was arrested and has charges of assault of a peace officer, and uttering threats pending.
