Edmonton Man Arrested in Cold Lake Meth Bust

During the early morning hours of December 25, 2015, Cold Lake RCMP arrested 39 year old Kevin Blair Smith of Edmonton.  Subsequent to arrest, RCMP seized a significant quantity of methamphetamine.  Kevin Smith has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs & Substances Act, as well as 4 charges of failing to comply with a recognizance under the Criminal Code.

Kevin Smith has been remanded into custody and is awaiting his next court appearance via CCTV on January 13, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in Cold Lake.
