Elk Point RCMP Investigate Fire
On November 26, 2015 at approximately 01:30 a.m. the Elk Point RCMP Detachment members responded to a structure fire in the community of Elk Point. Initial observations indicated that the blaze started in the holiday trailer parked immediately next to the residence and then spread to the single family dwelling.
Two occupants of the residence escaped the blaze uninjured. The Elk Point Fire Department was able to gain control of the fire before it spread to any other structures in the residential neighbourhood. The Elk Point RCMP are now investigating the origin of the fire.
