BCHS Santa’s Elves Program is Back
Students and staff from Bonnyville Centralized High School (BCHS) will be at the Bonnyville PONTIACS gameĀ on December 5th against the Grande Prairie STORM accepting unwrapped gifts for the Santa’s Elves Program.
Last year, the group wrapped close to 2,500 gifts to be delivered to 335 kids in the Town and Municipal District of Bonnyville. BCHS Representatives say that the fewer children that are in need for gifts the better, but the numbers keep growing.
The Santaās Elves program, which has been going on since the 1970ās, was open to students in all grades. The group will be putting out donation boxes in businesses around Bonnyville for people to drop off unwrapped toys, the Santaās Elves committee of staff and students then collected the toys and organized them into different age groups. Toys can also be dropped off in bins at businesses across town including Mr. Mikes, the Bonnyville Town Office, the C2 Centre, the Red Apple, and at BCHS. Ducharme Motors have also donated a truck bed to fill up with donated gifts.
