Even More Charges in Jorgenson Fraud Case

The continued investigation into 32 year-old Ashley Jorgenson, of Bonnyville, Alberta, has resulted in dozens of additional charges being laid. Today, Ashley Jorgenson was charged with 67 additional counts for possessing and using a counterfeit credit card, obtaining food with a counterfeit credit card, as well as violating her probation order and conditions of release.

Ashley Jorgenson committed crimes against numerous businesses in Cold Lake and other areas throughout the Province of Alberta.  The Cold Lake RCMP are advising businesses that proper procedures when processing credit and debit cards are integral to protecting the business as well as the customer.  Ashley Jorgenson remains in custody and appears in Cold Lake Provincial Court by CCTV on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
