Bonnyville RCMP are currently investigating a complaint from a parent that a white pill may have been stuffed inside a candy and given out to their children during Halloween this past Saturday.  Police wish to caution the public and ensure that parents are being diligent in checking over their children’s candy prior to it being consumed.

The candy in question is a chewy fruity type of candy similar to a Starburst.  The white pill is oval, of typical size, and with the letters APO on one side.

The public should not be alarmed, but should exercise caution as the  RCMP conduct their investigation.
