At approximately 8:40 am this morning, Bonnyville RCMP, EMS and Fire were dispatched to a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision at the intersection of 49 Ave and 49 Street.  A 15 year old female pedestrian was struck by a southbound pickup truck and seriously injured.  She is expected to survive but suffered broken bones and scuffs.  The female is a student at Bonnyville Centralized High School (BCHS).

The 17 year old male driver of the pickup was questioned at the scene, but has not yet been charged at this point and the matter is still being investigated with the assistance of our St. Paul Traffic Analyst.
