It is expected that the Town and M.D. of Bonnyville will announce the move of BRFA Station 5 in Bonnyville to the formerly known Kopala building just outside of town on Thursday afternoon.

This could involve the move of all Bonnyville EMS, 911, and Fire Services response to this new location.

On July 22, the M.D. of Bonnyville council talked about the purchase of a Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority building in a closed session, and in a special council meeting the next day, town council did as well.

The announcement is at 2:00pm today and will discuss the future of Bonnyville Regional Fire Authority operations, officials said.
