While reflecting on a lifetime of beautiful memories, the family of Greta Ringuette of Bonnyville, Alberta announces her passing on Friday, October 30, 2026 at the age of 87 years.

Leaving to mourn her legacy are her children: Roxanne Ringuette (Glenn Harvey), Deanna (Gary) Meekins, Lorne (Christine) Ringuette, Norman (Colleen) Ringuette; honorary daughter: Connie Kowalski; grandchildren: Andrew Harvey, Bryan Harvey, Samantha Harvey (Jesse Mitchell), Allen Meekins (Kim Jones), Zachary Meekins (Ridwan Abdi), Emilie Ringuette, Erik Ringuette, Katelynne (Luke) Kilar, Victoria (Ben) Jorgenson, Brooke (Garin) Butler, Sophia Ringuette; treasured great grandchildren: Fredrik Jorgenson, Scarlett Jorgenson, Charles Butler, Roslyn Kilar; brother: Andre Balla; sisters: Mildred Kolody, Carol (Louis) Frechette; sister-in-law: Marjorie Forsyth.

Greta will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Greta was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years: Victor Ringuette; grandson: Adam Harvey; parents: Andrew & Doris Balla; brothers: Henry Balla, Joseph Balla, Peter Balla; brother-in-law: John Kolody; sisters-in-law: Jeannette Raby, Gloria Balla.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as Celebrant. For those wishing to pay their respects, there will be a viewing at the church starting at 9:30 a.m. A live-stream of the service will be available here on our website. A recording will also be made available.

Final Resting Place: Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta. Pallbearers: Andrew Harvey, Allen Meekins, Zachary Meekins, Erik Ringuette, Emilie Ringuette, Samantha Harvey.

Honorary Pallbearers: all of Greta’s compassionate caregivers from Apidae.
