Some Northern Lights Public Schools buses are cancelled today, Thursday, October 29. Schools remain open and regular classes will proceed.

All Northern Lights bus routes serving Ardmore, Bonnyville, Glendon and Iron River are cancelled, along with rural routes in the Cold Lake area. Some routes elsewhere in the division may also be affected.

At the time of publication, Northern Lights is the only local division reporting cancellations. Lakeland Catholic, St. Paul Regional and Conseil scolaire Centre-Est buses are listed as running.

Northern Lights advises that programming may be modified if a large number of students are absent. Families whose children will be absent should notify their school through SchoolMessenger, the PowerSchool Parent Portal or by calling the school directly.
