With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Della Lavern Kjenner of Elk Point, Alberta (formerly of Heinsburg, Alberta) sadly share the passing of their mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the age of 94 years.

Above all, Della loved her family and friends deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, patience, and a reminder to slow down to appreciate the beauty of a blooming flower, the taste of a fresh berry, and the comfort of a shared meal.

Della is lovingly and forever remembered by her children: Laverne (Agata) Kjenner of Elk Point, Alberta, Gerry (Linda) Kjenner of Heinsburg, Alberta, Darren (Tracy) Kjenner of Bonnyville, Alberta; grandchildren: Gregory Kjenner, Nicole Kjenner, Carmen (Trent) Throndson, Morgan (Blake) Bowman, Kyle Kjenner, Jackson Kjenner; great grandchildren: Bea, Chett & Krew Throndson, Dax, Birdi & Busy Bowman as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.

Della is reuniting with her loving husband of 63 years, Donald Kjenner; parents: Clarence & Avis Vinge, brother: Lawrence Vinge (1934-1953).

Funeral Service, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., Bethel Lutheran Church, Tulliby Lake, Alberta with Pastor Kevin Nelson officiating. Pallbearers: Blake Bowman, Dax Bowman, Kyle Kjenner, Darren Kjenner, Gregory Kjenner, Trent Throndson. Final Resting Place, Frog Lake Community Cemetery, Frog Lake, Alberta.
