In Loving Memory: Gary Lind – Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel
Gary Lind
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved husband and father, Gary Lind. Gary passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026 at the age of 77 years. He was born in Sacramento, California and came
to the Elk Point area in 1973 with his wife, Deborah. Together they built a life of keeping bees and enjoying the beauty of the Stoney Lake hills. Gary was a naturalist and in addition to his bees, he loved and studied birds. He had many talents including sketching and playing the harmonica. He treasured his daughter Erica, and son Stephen, and enjoyed spending time with them outdoors.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Deborah; daughter, Erica (Calvin Gee); son, Stephen (Marwa Salama); aunt, Marge Scott; nephew, Tim Boyd; and niece, Heather Sayre. He was predeceased by his
two sisters, Cheryl Feeney & Annette Dennis; and his parents, Kenneth & Eunice Lind. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Parkview Long Term Care and Dr. Ebisike in Elk Point for the compassion and care shown to our lovely Gary. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held on Friday, October 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the University Hospital Foundation (Mazankowski Heart Institute) ℅ 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB T0A 3A1.
