COLD LAKE – Lakeland Petroleum Services Co-operative Ltd. (Lakeland Co-op) is set to expand services to members and customers with the acquisition of the RONA Cold Lake location. Upon closing of this transaction, the location will transition into a Lakeland Co-op Home and Farm Centre in the coming weeks.

With a Co-op Cardlock and Co-op Gas Bar already in Cold Lake, Lakeland Co-op sees this as an opportunity to broaden its presence in Cold Lake and better serve the evolving needs of the community.

By transitioning this location to a Home and Farm Centre, a more diversified product mix will be offered while continuing to deliver the trusted service and local investment Lakeland Co-op members expect.

The Co-op Home and Farm Centre will feature an expansive range of hardware, home improvement products and agricultural supplies, including bagged animal feed and other seasonal offerings.

The proposed transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions. When the store opens as Lakeland Co-op Home and Farm Centre, it will provide another opportunity for current and new members to use their membership to earn equity and cash back.
