It is with deep sadness and many beautiful memories that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, Mrs. Pauline Kucher of Vilna on October 3, 2026, at the age of 94 years.
She is survived by her children, Dennis (Betty) Kucher, Donna (George) Tocheniuk & Karen Kucher (Dwayne Wanchuk); caregiver, Jenny Johnson; grandchildren, Tyler, Curtis, Dallas (Krista), Angela & Kyle;
great-grandchildren, Rileigh, Avery, Scarlet, Sicily, Kiana, Kaitlyn, Danika, Dayla, Rhoman & Maxim; siblings, Elsie Boyko, Louis (Lorraine) Boyko, Edward (Joni) Boyko & Dennis Boyko; sister-in-law, Elaine
Boyko; brother-in-law, Ken Orr; numerous nieces & nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, John Kucher (1980); parents, Michael & Katherine Boyko; siblings, Roman, Mike, Tillie, Harry, Elizabeth,
Debbie & Jerry.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry, Alberta. Reverend Father Andrij Nykyforuk will be officiating with interment in the church cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stry or Ukrainian Catholic Church, Vilna, Alberta ℅ 5626 – 51 Street, St. Paul, AB. T0A 3A1.
