With heavy hearts, the family of Judy Marlene Olson of Cold Lake, Alberta announce she reunited with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the age of 70 years.

Judy’s passions in life were her devotion to Jesus Christ and to her family. An intelligent woman with a gift for people, Judy had a knack for putting people at ease. She was a fantastic cook, avid reader and accomplished gardener. No one ever left hungry after a visit with Judy!

Judy is remembered and forever loved by her husband of 46 years, Warren Olson; children: Bethany Olson (Aaron) of LaCorey, Alberta, Samantha Olson of Bonnyville, Alberta; brother: Calvin (Twyla) Chadwick of Edmonton, Alberta; sister: Dianne (Dale) Winacott of Lashburn, Saskatchewan; brother-in-law: Roy Olson; sisters-in-law: Elaine (Dale) Bekolay, Pauline (Neil) Sylvester, Janet Olson, Sharon (Sylvan) Cockrum; nephews: Caleb Chadwick, Richard (Heather) Winacott; nieces: Caitlyn (Cory) Fraser, Leah (Shaun) Stranzl; as well as numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Judy is predeceased by her father, Charles “Ted” Chadwick; brother-in-law: Lyle Olson.

Funeral Service, Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, Alberta with Shane Adams officiating. Pallbearers: Michael Olson, Richard Winacott, Aaron Sharkey, Riel Lavoie, Randy Jennings, Calvin Chadwick. Final Resting Place, Duclos Memorial Cemetery, Ardmore, Alberta.
