On October 9, 2026, Demaise Mary Singer of Frog Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 29 years. She is survived by her father, Dallas Waskahat (Fawn Wood); siblings, Keelan, Dayzhana, Amaris, Deserai & Avayo Singer, Dallas Jr. & Ethan Waskahat, Broxy Morin, Alex, Ambrose & Ava Waskahat-Wood; maternal kokums, Ellen Singer, Esther Wright & Amy Faithful; maternal moshum, Charlie (Eva) Singer; paternal kokum, Elise Waskahat; paternal chapan, Veronica Waskahat; numerous aunties, uncles & cousins. Demaise was predeceased by her mother, Laurelle Singer; sister, Syrai Singer; chapans, William & Sarah Singer & Joe Waskahat.
A Wake will be held on Thursday, October 15 (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) at Frog Lake Fieldhouse, Frog Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Frog Lake Fieldhouse, Frog Lake. Pastor Kevin Amahoose and Elder Ernest Stanley will be officiating with interment in Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Cemetery, Frog Lake.
