On Tuesday September 8, 2026, the sun has set for the late Lana (Ladouceur) Cardinal surrounded by her loving family at the age of 68 years.

Lana will be forever missed and cherished by her loving husband of 50 years Gerald Cardinal; children: Shannon Cardinal (Carl), Krystyn Cardinal (Gregory), Justin Cardinal (Michele); grandchildren: Dylan Cardinal (MacKenzie), Trenton Cardinal, Tayton Cardinal, Madison Cardinal (Brandon), Grayson Cardinal, Cohen Cardinal, Anika Cardinal, Miley Cardinal; great- grandchildren: Maria Boucher-Cardinal, Sage Cardinal, Autum Wanyandie, Athena Wanyandie, Amara Anderson, Ares Anderson, Noelle Bruno; sisters: Teresa (Arnold) Steinhauer, Donna (Ken) Ladouceur-Dion, Karen White; brother: David (Shirley) Thompson

Lana is predeceased by her parents: Gilbert & Beatrice Ladouceur; brothers: Erwin Ladouceur, Harold Ladouceur, Vernon Ladouceur, Leo Ladouceur, Randall Ladouceur; Larry Ladouceur; nephew: Harold Steinhauer; nieces: Kathy Ladouceur, Baby Amber.

Lana will be going home to Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Leaving Mission View Funeral Chapel, 133 Sentinel Drive, Lac La Biche, Alberta, at 3:00 p.m.

Evening Prayer Service Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. the Kikino Community Centre 310 14th Street, Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, Pastor Frank Ward will be officiating.

Funeral Service will be held at the Kikino Community Centre 310 14th Street, Kikino Metis Settlement, Alberta, on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Father Anselmo Landoy will be officiating. Her final resting place will be at the Kikino Cemetery.
