Lloydminster – RCMP have released a composite sketch and are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest in the attempted abduction of a nine-year-old girl in Lloydminster.
Police received the complaint on Aug. 14 and immediately launched an investigation into the reported attempted abduction.
As part of that investigation, Lloydminster RCMP worked with an RCMP forensic sketch artist to develop a composite drawing of an individual believed to be of interest in the case.
Investigators are now releasing that sketch publicly in hopes someone recognizes the individual.
RCMP say they are looking to identify and speak with the person depicted in the composite sketch as they continue their investigation. Police have not said the individual is a suspect or released further details about the circumstances surrounding the reported attempted abduction.
Anyone who recognizes the person in the sketch, or has information that could assist with the investigation, is asked to contact Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400.
Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit information through P3 Tips.
