With heavy hearts, the family of Sonia Rose Memnook-Arcand announce her passing on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the age of 49 years.

Sonia is lovingly remembered by her spouse, Lance Arcand Sr.; children: Jean (Delani) Memnook, Danielle Memnook-Arcand, Jarynn Memnook-Arcand, Lance Arcand Jr.; grandchildren: Harmonie, Grayson, Lexa, Joziyah, Jesslyn, Alyver, Chantayis; mother: Evelyn Memnook; brothers & sisters: Jonathan Memnook, Elizabeth Memnook (Curtis), Amelia Memnook, Jordan (Nicole) Memnook, Oliver Memnook; grandmother: Veronica Waskahat; grandfather: Moise Paul; mother-in-law: Eleanor “Ted” Arcand; father-in-law: Jerry Burnstick; brothers- & sisters-in-law: Edith Arcand, Curtis Arcand, Kelly Arcand, Lisa (Andy) Arcand, Shannon (Curtis) Arcand, Kevin (Leanne) Arcand, Kyle Arcand; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.

Sonia was predeceased by her father: John Memnook; grandparents: Edith & Paul Memnook; grandfather: Joseph Waskahat.
