The Town of Elk Point is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Jaye Parrent as its new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective September 8, 2026.
Jaye brings more than seven years of progressive municipal leadership experience to the role. Since 2022, she has served as CAO for the Village of Clyde, providing leadership in municipal administration, financial management, strategic planning, emergency management, economic development, and organizational operations. Prior to her appointment as CAO, she served as the Village’s Finance Officer and Assistant CAO, gaining extensive experience across all areas of municipal government. She has also provided contracted services as Assistant CAO and Returning Officer, and has been actively involved in numerous provincial municipal committees and relevant professional associations.
A Certified Local Government Manager (CLGM), Jaye is committed to continuous professional development and has completed advanced training in municipal administration, information access and privacy, community economic development, and emergency management.
Throughout her career, Jaye has demonstrated a collaborative leadership style, a strong commitment to good governance, fiscal responsibility, and excellence in public service. She has built positive working relationships with Council, staff, residents, businesses, key stakeholders, and regional partners while successfully advancing strategic priorities and organizational objectives.
Council is confident that her leadership, experience, and commitment to municipal excellence will serve the Town well as it continues to implement its strategic priorities and build for the future.
