It is with profound sadness that the family of Nancy Scanie announce her passing on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in Cold Lake, Alberta at the age of 87 years.
Nancy is lovingly survived by her husband: Robert Nicol; children: Morgan Janvier, Dale Delorme, Dean (Karen) Tingey, Deborah Delorme; step-son: Johnny (Diane) Nicol; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
Nancy was predeceased by her children: Clarence Scanie, Diane Scanie, Rose Scanie; siblings: Dominic Scanie, Francis Scanie (twin), Isabelle Martial, Eva Grandbois, Norman Scanie.
Visitation, Saturday June 20 & Sunday June 21, 2026, at the Scanie residence, house # 2136 E-Bay (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville at 2:00 pm).
Wake, Monday, June 22, 2026, English Bay Treaty Grounds.
Funeral Service, Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the English Bay Treaty Grounds. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
