Two Edmonton men are facing multiple drug trafficking charges after Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) seized large quantities of illegal drugs and cash during an investigation in Lloydminster.
On June 11, officers executed a search warrant at a hotel room on 50th Avenue in Lloydminster as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
During the search, police seized:
- $40,000 in cash
- 6.182 litres of gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB)
- 243 grams of fentanyl
- 233 grams of cocaine
- 725 grams of methamphetamine
Two men were arrested at the scene.
Multiple Drug Trafficking Charges Laid
Following the investigation, RCMP charged 23-year-old Yuvraj Dhillon and 20-year-old Sukhman Singh, both of Edmonton, with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB)
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
The charges fall under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and the Criminal Code of Canada.
Dhillon and Singh are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court in Alberta on August 11, 2026.
RCMP: Seizure Disrupts Local Drug Trade
Sgt. Aaron Gervais of Saskatchewan RCMP’s Lloydminster STRT said the seizure removed a significant amount of dangerous drugs from the community.
“This seizure represents a significant disruption to the illicit drug trade in Lloydminster and area,” said Gervais. “By removing these dangerous substances, and the financial incentives behind them, we are directly investing in community prevention and safety.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
