“Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy…” — Jude 1:24

On May 8th, 2026, Richard, entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord surrounded by the love and prayers of his family and close family friends.

Richard, a beloved husband, father, grandfather (“Papa”), brother, and friend, was known for his generous heart, steady faith, gentle wisdom, and unwavering love for his family. He lived a life marked by generosity, humility, and devotion to Christ. Richard would be the first to tell you he was far from perfect, but was completely reliant on the goodness of God’s saving grace. Richard shared often that same faith in the grace of God with everyone he met and it is faith that carried him through life’s many trials and were the foundation of his greatest joys.
Missing him greatly are his cherished family and friends. Though our hearts grieve, we take comfort in knowing Richard has been presented “faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.”

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at Grand Centre Alliance Church on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 at 4:00pm.

“Absent from the body, and present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8
