On May 10, 2026, Linda Rose Moosewah of Saddle Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 54 years. She is survived by her loving partner, Lee Casteel; children, Kris Moosewah (Martina Quinney), Shawna Moosewah (Victoria Cryer), Kimberly Cardinal, Morgan Cardinal & Royce Cardinal; grandchildren, Carmelle, Jayda, Janaya, Cyro, Sam, Zayden, Ariel & Aaliyah; mother, Eliza Moosewah; siblings, Corey (Lenora) Moosewah, Raymond Moosewah & Elaine Moosewah; father of her children, Glen Cardinal; aunts, Julia Moosewah & Mary Louise (Thomas) McCarthy; uncles, Raymond, William, Charlie & Ernest Moosewah; numerous nieces & nephews. Linda was predeceased by her father, Edward Shirt; granddaughter, Jalayla; grandparents, Mary Moosewah & Roy Gladue; siblings, James, Joanne, Henry, Kenny & Jimmy; uncle, Percy. Wake will be held on Wednesday & Thursday, May 13 & 14 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake (leaving Grace Gardens at 1:00 p.m.). Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. Mr. Will Gill will be officiating with interment in United Church Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
