With love and gratitude for his life, the family of John Grant announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 85 years surrounded by the love of his family.

John will be forever loved and remembered by his children: Jimmy (Rose) Grant, Marlene (Vince) Strzepek, and Sandra Grant.

John was blessed with a large and cherished family of grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kyle (Katlyn) Strzepek and their children Sawyer, Marek, and Makena; Clifford Katcheech and his children Cashton, Aubrey, Jedson, and Hendrix; Danielle (Zach) Kalinski and their children Sutton, Kipp, and Milo; Krista Katcheech and her children Eian, Adele, and Mackenzie; Brittany (Murray) Rodger and their children Rory and Bennett; Cole (Chloé) Grant and their children Aspen, Lawson, and Oliver; Keenan Katcheech; Samantha (Ryan) Walker and their children Sarah, Sadie, and Shelby.

He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters Kay (Jim) Robertson, Ruth (Ray) Vetter, and Maxine Kimpton; his sister-in-law Margaret Grant; and his brother-in-law Bernard Trahan.

John was predeceased by his wife Adele Grant; son Angus Grant; parents Gordon and Alexandria Grant; sisters Joan Trahan, Lois (Raoul) Ramsay, and Shirley (Matteo) Torresan; his infant brother Jimmy; and his brothers Angus (Mary) Grant and Ray Grant.
