The family of Emily Viola Steinhauer, born in Goodfish Lake, Alberta March 21, 1948, sadly announce her passing on April 10, 2026, at the age of 78 years.

Emily is survived by her only son: Calvin (Lara); four grandchildren: Brandon (Mallarie), Braydon (Tory), Mikisew, Brenton; four great grandchildren: Ella, Elijah, Branson, Greyson; brother: Allan Steinhauer; adopted sister: Lou Ann Charland; brothers-in-law: Henry Pruden and Ron Whitford; special niece: Priscilla (Leo) Cardinal; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Emily was predeceased by her parents: Florence and Douglas Steinhauer; sisters: Evelyn Pruden, Eileen Steinhauer, Verna Steinhauer Charles; adopted sisters: Karen Okeymow and Angie Charland; adopted brother: Joe Charland; grandson: Douglas Steinhauer; niece: Carrie “Hushta” Steinhauer; brother-in-law: Jacob Charles.
