While reflecting on a lifetime of beautiful memories, the family of John Joseph Bauer of Bonnyville, Alberta regretfully announces his passing on Monday, April 6, 2026 at the age of 87 years.

John is lovingly survived by his cherished wife of 63 years: Violet Bauer of Bonnyville, AB; devoted children: Dale (Rhonda) Bauer of Red Deer, AB, Darlene (Gary) Krawchuk of Bonnyville, AB, Keith (Diane) Bauer of Bonyville, AB, Stacy (Carmen) Bauer of Bonnyville, AB; grandchildren: Tyler (Miranda), Devin (Kanesa), Nolan, David, Jackie (Ryan), Logan (Kierra), Kaitlyn, Janelle (Mike), Justin (Courtney), Jaclyn (Rob), Noah (Keyana), Jordan (Breena), Faith (Brock), Alicia, Bryan (Brittany), Chris (Nicole); numerous great grandchildren; brothers: Wayne (Wendy) Bauer of Bonnyville, AB, Brian (Carol) Bauer of Bonnyville, AB; sister-in-law: Helen Wealtered of Victoria, BC; Violet’s siblings: Martha Pirart, Armand (Annette) Gooler; Violet’s sister-in-law: Shirley Gooler; John will also be missed by his many friends, nieces, nephews and extended family.
