She is survived by her 2 children, Emara & Akela; mother, Teena; siblings, Trista (Dallas) Makokis, Jade McGilvery, Glory Cardinal, Jersey Cardinal, Ayleah Cardinal, Shalayn “Layne” Shirt, Trey Makokis & Troy Makokis; step-brother, Little Ryen Jr. Cardinal-Martial; grandparents, Delia R. Cardinal, David Kam, Theresa & Josh Cardinal, Laura Makokis; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins. Sunshine was predeceased by her father, Tristan Makokis; & numerous other relatives. A Wake will be held on Saturday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Sunday, March 21 & 22 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake with interment in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Saddle Lake.
