On March 12, 2026, Mrs. Christina Katerenchuk of Spedden, Alberta, passed away at the age of 97 years. She is survived by her loving children, Donald (Sheila), Irene (Paul) Moldowan, Phyllis Moldowan, Michael (Judy), Lyle (Terry), Sheila (Dave) Maheu, Lorne (Colette) & Ivan (Melanie); son-in-law, Ed Zapisocki; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; sisters-in-law, Pearl Williams & Vivian McRae; numerous nieces & nephews. Christina was predeceased by her husband, Nickoli; daughters, Joyce (Orest) Zapisocki, Charlotte Zapisocki & Ramona Lee in infancy; son-in-law, Leo Moldowan; daughter-in-law, Dorinda; 3 brothers & 2 sisters. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashmont Agriplex, Ashmont. Pastor Owen Isaacson will be officiating with interment in East Star Cemetery, McRae.
