On February 5, 2026, Mrs. Cecile Kotowich of St. Paul, Alberta passed away at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her loving children, Marcel, Louise Hicks, Diane (Wendell) Young, Mariette Blower, Irene, Allan (Rita), Joanne & Brian (Pauline); 20 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren, Nykola (Emily Crocker) & their son, Oliver, Shane Hicks (Nicole Shayka), Travis Hicks & Jason (Christine) Hicks & their chilrdren, Vincent & Zeke, Aaron (Crystal) Young & their children, Gabriel, Samuel, Elijah, Abby & Hope, Julie (Craig) Tucker & their children, Caitlin & Jamie, Alison Young, Jessica (Scott) Doyle & their daughter, Charlotte, Tony & Eric Blower, Mallory Warholik (Devin Quinney) & their daughter, Kayla, Raymond Warholik (Alexa Guse), Sarah (Wayne) Anderson & their son Remmy, Ryan & Shawn Kotowich, David, Mathew, Natalie (Louis Lefebvre), Stephanie (Ben Murphy) & Janelle (Hank Joly); siblings, Dave (Cecile) Gamache, Alphonse Gamache, Albert Gamache & Rita Gamache; sisters-in-law, Marge Gamache, Eva Kotowich & Josie Carrier; brother-in-law, Omer Verrier. Cecile was predeceased by her husband, Walter; parents, Joseph & Angelina Gamache; grandson, Daniel Young; siblings, Alice Coutu, Eugene Gamache, Omer Gamache & Eva Verrier; son-in-law, Brent Blower. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Emmanuel Omeohanna will be the celebrant with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul.
