Grateful for a life well lived, the family of Leo Frank Strzepek of Alexander, Alberta are deeply saddened to share the passing of their beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the age of 87 years, surrounded by his loving family.

Leo is lovingly survived by his wife of 61 years, MaryAnne Strzepek; children: Annette (Doug) Bunnin, Janet (Darren) Turner, Vince (Marlene) Strzepek, Cindy (Richard) Ouellette, Terence (Crystal) Strzepek; grandchildren: Kyle (Katlyn) Strzepek, Danielle (Zack) Kalinski, Jenna (Jesse) Bunnin, Shane Bunnin, Kirsten (Adam) Beller, Adam Ouellette, Brandi (Wyatt) Ranger, Braden Turner, Lyric Strzepek, Axyanna Strzepek, Colton Strzepek; great grandchildren: Sutton Kalinski, Kipp Kalinski, Milo Kalinski, Sawyer Strzepek, Marek Strzepek, Makena Strzepek, Harper Beller, Lola Beller, Walker Ranger, and two more special ones on the way; brother: Julian (Lucy) Strzepek; sisters: Stephanie Sarafinchan, Polly Kopala.

Leo is predeceased by his parents: Anthony & Halina Strzepek; parents-in-law: Jean & Joe Cydejko; siblings: Caroline Malo, Anna Podloski; granddaughter: Shae-Lynn Turner and many other dear relatives & friends.

Funeral Service, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. (Eulogy at 12:45 p.m.), St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as Celebrant. Pallbearers, Leo’s grandsons Kyle Strzepek, Colton Strzepek, Shane Bunnin, Braden Turner, Adam Ouellette and brother Julian Strzepek. Honorary Pallbearers: Zach Kalinksi, Wyatt Ranger, Adam Beller, Jesse Rush. Final Place of Resting, St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery, Alexander, Alberta.
