A focused RCMP enforcement operation in St. Paul has led to multiple arrests, warrant executions and the recovery of stolen property, as police continue to target repeat offenders impacting community safety.
Two-Day Operation Focused on Warrants
On Feb. 3 and 4, 2026, St. Paul RCMP carried out an enhanced enforcement operation aimed at apprehending individuals with outstanding warrants within the detachment area. The initiative focused on priority offenders identified through intelligence-led policing.
Multi-Unit RCMP Collaboration
The operation was a coordinated effort involving several specialized RCMP units, including:

RCMP Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit

Alberta RCMP Community Response Team

RCMP Police Dog Services

St. Paul RCMP Traffic Services

Alberta RCMP Criminal Intelligence
Modern policing tools were used during the operation, including Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) to assist officers on the ground.
Results of the Enforcement Action
Over the two-day period, RCMP reported the following outcomes:

7 offenders arrested

4 offenders remanded into custody

17 warrants executed

33 total charges

5 new criminal charges laid

7 traffic tickets issued
-
3 suspended drivers
-
2 uninsured motor vehicles

2 stolen vehicles recovered

1 loaded firearm seized as evidence

“The St. Paul RCMP are committed to the safety of our communities and support proactive enforcement initiatives that target the priority offenders that contribute to the majority of the harm on our public safety,” said Sgt. Andrew Druhan, Detachment Commander of the St. Paul RCMP.
