On Friday, January 30, 2026 Leonard Badger of Kehewin Cree Nation passed away peacefully at home at the age of 75 years.
Leonard is lovingly survived by his children: Loryanne Badger, Gale Marie Morin, Adrienne Badger, Andrea Badger, Jennifer Dion (Randy); 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; siblings: Gordon Gadwa, Norman Badger (Irene), Glen Badger, Allen Badger, Richard Badger (Joanne), Irwin Badger; as well as numerous other relatives.
Leonard was predeceased by his daughter: Lee-Ann John; grandchildren: Chaz Badger-Batoche, Caleb & Gabriel Cardinal; parents: Thomas & Angeline Badger; siblings: Roland, Margaret, Wilma, Lillian, Florence, Lewis.
Wake, Wednesday, February 4, 2026 (leaving Northern Lights Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville at 1:00 p.m.), Leonard’s residence, House #148, Kehewin Cree Nation.
Funeral Service, February 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., Leonard’s residence, House #148. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at a later date.
