With heavy hearts, the family of Marco “Mark” Norman Miller, formerly of Ashmont, Alberta, announce his peaceful passing with his children by his side in Smoky Lake, Alberta, on January 29, 2026, at the age of 88 years.
Marco’s legacy will live on through his loving family: his son, Duane (Karen); daughter, Melanie (Guy Corbiere); grandchildren, Stephanie (Joffre) Brousseau, Mariah Corbiere (Josh Gerber) & Zackary Corbiere; 4 cherished great-grandchildren, Emma Anne Miller, Hayden Brousseau, Taylor Brousseau & Maycen Brousseau; siblings, Charles, Tom (Bertha), Joe (Jeanne), Doris Zellweger, Orene Miller & Rose (Dwayne) Poitras. Marco was predeceased by his parents, Mike & Jeanne; brothers, George, Pat, Donald, John & Nick; sisters, Mary, Helen & Joyce; grandson, Jesse; brothers-in-law, Emile & Russ; sister-in-law, Shirley.
In keeping with Marco’s wishes, no formal service will be held. A Final Farewell for family & friends will take place at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul on Thursday, February 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Cremation will follow, with private inurnment at a later date.
