County of St. Paul Advances Rezoning Bylaws Ahead of Public Hearings
Several land use bylaws are moving forward in the County of St. Paul, with council giving first reading to new rezonings that will return to council following public input later this winter.
Council gave first reading to Bylaw 2026-02, which would rezone Lot 2, Block 2, Plan 142 2979 (NW 19-60-9-W4) from Country Residential (CR1) to Agricultural District.
In addition, council previously gave first reading to Bylaw 2025-17, which reflects the rebuilding and realignment of roadway plans in multiple locations across the county.
Public hearings scheduled
Public hearings for the rezoning bylaws are expected to be held at the end of February, with details to be announced.
Residents will have an opportunity to review the proposed changes and provide input before council considers second and third readings.
Council reminded the public that full bylaw documents are available on the County website under Governance > Bylaws & Policies.
