Sparkle in the Park raised ,500 for mental health awareness programming during its 2025 run, according to Hearts for Healthcare.

The six-night drive-through event took place Dec. 1 to 6 at the Cold Lake MD Campground, operating nightly from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Organizers reported 3,914 vehicles passed through the display, with 2,809 kilograms of food donated over the course of the event.

Admission was by donation, allowing families to attend regardless of ability to pay while supporting mental health awareness efforts and local food programs.

The event also included a public vote for participating displays. Cold Lake Dental received the most votes at 272, narrowly ahead of Seven Lakes Oilfield Services at 268. Other top vote-getters included the Cold Lake Cruisers (161), CSN JD Collision (132), and Cold Lake Lodge (129).

Hearts for Healthcare said the voting component increased attendee engagement but emphasized the broader community involvement behind the event’s success.

“Every display contributed to the overall experience, and we are grateful for the support, creativity, and community involvement,” the organization said.

Funds raised through Sparkle in the Park support mental health awareness initiatives that reduce stigma and strengthen community support networks.

Organizers noted strong participation throughout the event and credited community involvement for the event’s continued year-over-year growth.
