Vermilion RCMP are asking for the public’s help after three suspects allegedly worked together to steal liquor from a Vermilion store earlier this month.

What happened

RCMP say that on Dec. 12, 2025, three males entered a liquor store in Vermilion. Two of the suspects deliberately lured the store clerk away from the till while a third went behind the counter and stole several small bottles of liquor.

As the group was leaving the store, the suspects reportedly acted aggressively toward the clerk to distract him. Police believe this behaviour was meant to draw attention away from the theft of an additional full-size bottle of liquor.

The suspects were not known to the clerk and are not believed to be local to the Vermilion area.

RCMP asking for tips

Vermilion RCMP are requesting public assistance in identifying the suspects involved in the incident.
