It is with profound sadness that the family of David Simon of Boyle, Alberta announce his passing at the age of 79 years on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
David will be lovingly remembered by his spouse: Diane McNamara of Boyle, Alberta; daughters: Dawna (Trevor) Simon of Drayton Valley, Alberta, Jody (Kevin) Bergquist of Wynyard, Saskatchewan; sons: Giaco (Laura) Simon of Calgary, Alberta, Phillip (Trish) McNamara of Kikino, Alberta and Lyall (Lacey) McNamara of Fort Nelson, British Columbia; his sister: Eva (Bud) Newton of Edmonton; and his chosen family, Charlie and Rhonda Stephenson; David also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A service of remembrance to be held at a later date.
