The Bonnyville Pontiacs continue to stack league honours, led once again by forward Maxwell Pendy, who has earned the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week award for the second straight week. The league’s leading scorer has stretched his point streak to ten games and put up another dominant showing with nine points over a pair of Pontiacs wins.

Pendy on a Tear

Pendy posted a goal and three assists in Camrose on 21 November, powering Bonnyville to a 6–3 victory over the Kodiaks. He followed it up the next night at home with another goal and four more assists in a 6–5 win to sweep the home-and-home series.
With 45 points in 21 games, the Princeton-bound forward sits atop the AJHL scoring race and has racked up 29 points during his ten-game streak.

Schulha Claims Rookie of the Week

The Pontiacs’ success didn’t stop there. Defenceman Evan Schulha has been named the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week after collecting three points across the weekend. The 2007-born St Albert product now sits tied for second in scoring among rookie blueliners with 11 points in 16 games.

Pontiacs Rolling into December

Bonnyville enters the final week of November with an 8-2-0 record over their last ten games and hold fourth place in the Bunge AJHL North Division. With both veteran talent and young contributors earning league recognition, the Pontiacs continue to show depth across the lineup.
