Cold Lake RCMP Investigate Early-Morning Shooting, Two People Injured

Cold Lake RCMP are investigating a shooting that left two people injured early Saturday morning.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 8, 2025, police were called after EMS located two gunshot victims at the corner of 51 Street and 51 Avenue. The victims, a 20-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, were transported for medical care and are both expected to survive their injuries.

During the investigation, RCMP identified a suspect vehicle — a 2001 Toyota Tundra — which was later found burned near the corner of 54 Avenue and 61 Street.

Cold Lake RCMP are asking the public for assistance. Anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage from the areas of 61 Street and 54 Avenue or 51 Street and 51 Avenue between 12 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 8 is asked to review their footage and submit anything that could help investigators.
