In Loving Memory: Patrick Ward – Memento Funeral Chapel

With saddened hearts and a lifetime of cherished memories, the family of Patrick “Pat” Joseph Ward of Cold Lake, Alberta announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle on Sunday, October 26, 2025, just four days short of his 83rd birthday.

Pat is lovingly survived by his son: James (Angela) Ward of Red Deer, AB; daughter: Naomi (Jim) McQuaid of Calgary, AB; grandchildren: Eamon McQuaid, Katie McQuaid, Abigail Ward, Julianne Ward, Emily Ward; sister: Ila Dore of Tullow, Ireland. Pat will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews: Danny (Margaret) Dore, of New York, Jillian (Kevin) Ward Kelliher, Lorraine (Declan) Reidy, James (Michelle) Ward of Ireland, Jon Ward of Toronto; Jim (Debbie) Dore of New York, Margaret Fitzsimons, Kealan Mooney, Fiona Atkinson, Adrian, Colin and Niamh Smith of Ireland, extended family Nuala, Betty, Luke, Anne, Pat, Kieran of Ireland & many cherished friends.

Pat was predeceased by his treasured wife: Mary Imelda Ward (2004); brother: John Ward (2019); and parents: James & Brigid Ward.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, AB with Father Limneo Zamora as  Celebrant. Pallbearers: James Ward, Jim McQuaid, Danny Dore, Eamon McQuaid, Jason Hanasyk, Bill Simmons. Pat will be laid to rest next to his loving wife Imelda at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cold Lake, AB.
