Voters in the Town of St. Paul have brought back a familiar leader. Glenn Anderson, who previously served as mayor from 2007 to 2017, has reclaimed the mayor’s seat after winning the 2025 municipal election with 955 votes. His opponent, Sylvie Smyl, received 650.

Anderson’s decade-long history in the role gives him deep roots in local governance, regional collaboration, and economic development. His return marks a notable shift for the community as he steps back into office eight years after his previous tenure ended.
