Lac La Biche County Responds to Allegations at Training Centre
Lac La Biche County says it took immediate action after learning of allegations involving the former Director of the Law Enforcement Training Centre.
The County confirmed the individual was removed from their position and has not been employed or contracted with the County since June 2025.
In a statement, the County reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy toward misconduct and noted that, while the matter is before the courts, the Law Enforcement Training Centre remains operational under new leadership.
“Programs have expanded, enrolment has increased, and the Centre continues its mission of becoming a leading public safety training institute in Alberta and beyond,” the County said.
The County added that its focus remains on professionalism, accountability, and delivering excellence in law enforcement training for the region and province.
