Two Men in Critical Condition After Incident in Cold Lake Walmart Parking Lot

Two men are in critical condition after being found injured and unresponsive in the Cold Lake Walmart parking lot early on Sept. 8, 2025.

Cold Lake RCMP and EMS responded to the call in the early morning hours, where paramedics assessed both men before transporting them by STARS air ambulance to hospital.

Investigation Ongoing

Police say initial information suggests the incident was targeted, adding that there is no ongoing safety risk to the public. The Cold Lake General Investigations Section is leading the investigation.
