Sarah, Haylee, Ava & Jessica: The FAME Dance Dream Team

Meet the dream team behind Fame Dance Studios’ Recreational Dance Program in Bonnyville, Elk Point, and Glendon — Sarah, Haylee, Ava, and Jessica.

Sarah, a long-time face in the Lakeland dance community, couldn’t hide her excitement as she introduced the team. “This is my dream team for the year. They’re going to be teaching our recreational classes and performance level classes here at the C2 and in the newly renovated conference rooms,” she shared with pride.

For Haylee, stepping into this role is a natural extension of years spent in Sarah’s top-level senior program. She’s not only preparing to teach, but also leading a starring role in Fame’s upcoming production of Aladdin. Her enthusiasm is contagious — and younger dancers see her as proof that hard work and joy in dance go hand in hand.

Ava’s story is one of dedication. Sarah highlighted her as a stand-out from the senior program, someone who has grown into a leader. Ava added in her own words: “I’ve been dancing for seven years,” and spoke about the excitement of passing on her love of dance to kids just starting out. For her, teaching is about watching confidence bloom with each step.

Jessica rounds out the team with an incredible depth of experience. With 18 years of experience in dance and skating, and over 13 years of coaching, she brings a steady and knowledgeable presence to the program. Sarah put it simply: “She brings it all to the table.” Jessica’s ability to balance skill with encouragement makes her a cornerstone of the recreational program.

Together, these four instructors are shaping something bigger than weekly classes. They’re making dance accessible in small towns where opportunities like this can be rare. They’re building confidence, sparking friendships, and showing kids in Bonnyville, Glendon, and Elk Point that movement can be both fun and transformative.
