Cold Lake RCMP Seize Cocaine and Cash in Drug Trafficking Investigation
A Cold Lake man is facing trafficking charges after RCMP executed a search warrant that turned up cocaine, cash, and drug-related paraphernalia.
In late 2024, the Cold Lake General Investigations Section (GIS) began an investigation into drug trafficking within the City of Cold Lake. With support from the Alberta RCMP Community Response Team (CRT) and the Lakeland Crime Reduction Unit (CRU), a search warrant was carried out on Sept. 4, 2025.
As a result of the search, RCMP seized:

240 grams of suspected cocaine
-
More than $8000 in Canadian currency

Drug-trafficking paraphernalia
Police arrested Tanner Rouleau, 32, of Cold Lake, who has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.
Rouleau was released on conditions following a hearing before a justice of the peace. He is scheduled to appear in Alberta Court of Justice in Cold Lake on Sept. 24, 2025.
