In Loving Memory: Matthys Muller – Memento Funeral Chapel

With grateful hearts for a lifetime of beautiful memories, the family of Matthys Maree Muller of Bonnyville, Alberta announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the age of 86 years.

Leaving to mourn is his beloved wife of 62 years: Elizabeth Muller; children: Anton (Retha) Muller, Hendrik (Charlotte) Muller, Jacobus (Corné) Muller, Magda (Claude) Marais; grandchildren: Marelize (Michael), Michael (Alison), Michelle (Dustyn), Matthew (Sophie), Francois; treasured great grandchildren: Teddy, Leo, Evelyn; sister: Antoinette Gutter; Matthys also leaves behind a large circle of extended family and friends.

Matthys was predeceased by his parents: Anton & Alida Muller.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Matthys’s life will take place at a later date.
