WATCH: Bonnyville Golf Invitation scheduled Thursday in Kidsport fundraiser

Golfers are soon to tee off to help kids stay off the sidelines in the Bonnyville area.

Lloyd Sadd Insurance is once again holding their Bonnyville Golf Invitation on Thursday, a fundraiser to support Kidsport Bonnyville.

This is the 4th running of the double back-9 tournament, which has been a great success for both the organizers and benefactors.

“It’s a super fun day,” said Lindsay Guindon, Lloyd Sadd.

“We’ve been able to successfully raise over $30,000 for Kidsport Bonnyville since the start of this tournament.”

Bakertilly and RBC have teamed up to help sponsor the tournament this year as well.

Board member Michael Menzies explained that this is one of the top fundraisers for Kidsport on the calendar.

“It’s been a smashing success. The proceeds are going towards a great cause to support kids in town with entry fees so they can participate in their favourite sport. And that extends to dance and cheer as well,” he said.
